my first devlog :0


Hi, this is our laundry based game. The inicial idea was  to give a turn arround in the work simulators to make something more enjoyable that needs a bigger attencion of the player. Creating a action/fighting pixel art game

The principal objective is to wash clothes when  fighting with them. The clothes of this world is cursed, dirty and very very evil.

for that,  we need to pass trought four purifying steps:

  1. Wet the clothes in a long-range combat
  2. Use the detergent in a quick time event inmediately after step 1
  3. Brush them in a melee combat
  4. Dry it and deliver them clean

And thus, customers throw the clothes on the screen where the player will have to go through each step until they are delivered

If the player makes a mistake in any of these steps, the idea is that it will influence in the gameplay. For example, if you spill water from the bucket to soak the clothes, the floor will become dirty and the player slipping will lose HP and be more vulnerable to attacks. We also have the idea that the weather affects the gameplay in some way in the scenario (we may discard it)

Finally, we made the design of the main character and some drawings as concept art, attached.

For now, the general idea of the stage would look like this (note that the stage has some sense of depth):
